Farewell, America!

Bonjour (hello) family and friends!
Welcome to one of the most exciting reading experiences to grace your lives in a long time. We are happy you are interested enough in our lives to read about our adventures in Canada. I think we are the only Americans to willingly spend two weeks in the special country to the north of us.
Here are some things we've already learned about Canada:
1. Outlets and power are all the same, thank goodness. #GoNAFTA
2. The US dollar is currently stronger than the Canadian dollar. Not really surprised though, America rules
3. Canada is not considered international travel so we had to pay baggage fees...#annoyed #DarnNAFTA
We also learned that Mitchell international airport has a zone past security called the "recombobulation area"...its safe to say we are now recombobulated. See photo for laughs. Canada will probably have more hilarious signs to post about, eh?
We will keep you updated as best as we can throughout the trip with posts and photos. Also keep an eye out on Twitter for a special hashtag #gingerandcurry
We are excited to put our newly earned B.S. degrees and Phen's limited francais to good use!
Cheers,
Ginger and Curry
