Hello and happy Saturday!
Yesterday we spent the entire day perusing about Old Quebec which is a really cool part of town. The buildings are very European style with fun colors. There are also a TON of souvenir shops which we of course had to go into all of them. We basically went city exploring all morning and concluded the old parts of any city are what we seem to enjoy best.

After reaching the "end" of old Quebec we discovered the Terrasse Dufferin, which was essentially a boardwalk overlooking the river. The terrasse was really nice and had a great view of the water plus a lower part of old Quebec which is even older! We decided to call it Old old Quebec.
We had another chutes and ladders experience and ventured down a large flight of stairs into old old Quebec. Even older = even cuter!! We really liked old old Quebec and spent a lot of time walking around and enjoying the unique atmosphere.
In old old Quebec, we visited the Musee de la civilisation (museum). They had a really fun exhibit on the history of video games, so we explored and played some really old school games (We almost forgot what it was like to play a 2D video game)
At the end of the day the weather took a turn for the worst so we escaped into Starbucks and had some coffee while playing cribbage. Christina won. (Side note: There was a couple next to us playing candy crush saga on their individual iPads not talking to each other at all... so at least we talk shit)
The most exciting part of the day came at dinnertime. We went to a restaurant we had scouted out at least 4 hours earlier that day and our sole mission was crepes. And at the end of the dinner, it was safe to say Mission Complete! We had a savory and sweet crepe (see photos) and enjoyed them so much we thought there might be alcohol in them. #foodhigh Needless to say, we needed to lay horizontal for a while at the hostel before any other activities.
Our food coma didn't last too long so we headed to a cool resto bar for
drinks and apps (typical end to our day). Back at the hostel, we
indulged in one more game of cribbage before permanently remaining
horizontal (for like 8 hours). New Score: 4-2 G to C (lottsss of time
left to recover).
